Motion Graphics

During my time at Delta State University, I taught Motion Graphics, a 300-level course made up of graphic design and digital-media students.
The course focused on Adobe Animate and After Effects.

Expressive Shapes

For their first assignment students were asked to use basic animation principles along with shapes in Adobe Animate to express emotions and feelings. They used shape, color, and sound to communicate these emotions and feelings.

Kinetic Type

Students selected an audio track from a quote of their choice to create a kinetic type animation. They were asked to focus on the overall tone and atmosphere of the quote.
